The importance of core – we don’t like to do stuff which will strengthen our core.

If we do not give attention to strengthening our core, our world will collapse. There is disparity between our inner and outer self.

The problem is that we love God with our broken heart, wounded soul, and tormented mind.

God has anointed and gifted us, but it is our character that take us to the place where it be sustained.

If we don’t ruthlessly guard our heart, whatever we are going through will flow out of it.

We need less of us and more of Him.

We need to empty ourselves and fill more of Him. If you’re hearts broken, it’s your heart’s toxic, it will seep into every area of leadership.

Why don’t you get your face off Facebook and get your face inside the Word of God.

We need a generation that will ruthlessly guard your heart. We can’t let the tormented heart to pollute and dilute the potency of the Word of God.

Why do we think if are soul is damaged, why do you think it can be instantly changed?

We don’t expect our bodies are changed when born again. Why do we expect our soul will be? We have not allowed the Holy Spirit to remove all the infection of a wounded soul. Some of us are not willing to embrace the path of recovery. It is often great than the pain of the injury.

God doesn’t want visitation rights, he wants to move into the neighborhood.

If we read the Bible, if we were empowered by the Spirit, we would be the person God designed us to be. Even as leaders, we jump into the first train of thought and have no thought it will take us. We end up angry, weary, in habits of destructive thoughts.

But as leaders we need to be transformed by the renewal of the mind. So many of us are bombarded with junk in the media. We need to fill ourselves with the Word of God. As leaders, jump into the right train of thought. Take control of your thoughts.

As leaders, when you think about what keeps you up at night, do you trust the sovereignty of God, the faithfulness of God?

The degree to which we are free, the degree to which we are healed is the degree we can lead people into wholeness.

Question:  What needs to change in your life to ruthlessly guard your heart in every aspect of your life?
