Which Job Should You Get Based On Your Personality Type? [Infographic]

Does your current job fit your personality? Or the better question is, should I find my job based on my personality type? There’s a huge controversy over this? What are your thoughts?

Nonetheless, I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of personality and career. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality test is a widely known tool used in the business arena for helping you find the “right” career. Today about 80% of the Fortune 500 and 89 of Fortune 100 companies use it to analyze the personalities of employees, in an effort to find them in the right roles and help them succeed.

As a leadership consultant, I work with numerous leaders of all shapes and sizes and help people validate whether their reported Myers-Briggs type is actually true or not. I always find that at least one of the letters change. The reason being, your personality never changes. You are born with certain hard-wiring that defines you but your nurture and choices have collectively influenced your current behavior. No wonder why so many people feel that awkward, drained and uncomfortable at the end of the day. If you want your MBTI validated with me, visit HERE.
