The new year will be here only in a few days, so it’s the perfect time to reflect on 2017. I’ve always used the winter break to recalibrate my life. I invite you to join in me a deep and thorough reflection process to finish strong. A year end review is a great exercise to live intentionally. It’s a way to slow down, do a postmortem on the highs and lows of our life. Most importantly, you get to see yourself from a 30,000 ft level. Unveiling the Mask of Authenticity

On one of my birthdays my sister gave me a full-face rubber mask…one of those crazy things you slip over your head. She told me she’d give me ten dollars if I’d wear it into the pulpit one Sunday (my kids raised it to fifteen dollars), but I just couldn’t do it! One night I wore it to a speaking engagement. Without any explanation, I just stood up and began to speak on being authentic. There I stood pressing on, making one statement after another as the place came apart at the seams. Why?
